I know at one time you were working on an adapter for the M1 Carbine magazine for use in the AR. Did that project ever get going?

Got the layout drawings done for the M1 Carbine mag adapter and hope to cut some material in the next week or so. Going to try and fit a barrel in this batch.....

It sure would be nice to see a good 30 M1 carbine magazine adapter and an upper to go with it. I believe the M1 Carbine cartridge rim is smaller than the .223 rem. cartridge rim -- are you going to do some custom bolts?

.360 vs .378" so a little extra play. Been doing some bolt testing and should have a reliable solution. Did a donor barrel yesterday so we'll see if I can get it chambered up for testing.

I'd love to see how it turns out. If all goes well I hope there will be some pics.

Me Too! Not a very good pic but here is the short list: 30 Carbine 9mm Mag 45 Win Mag 357 Mag 10mm AMT (magnum) 256 Win Mag 50 AE Plus all the variants based on those cases......... Now of course, once we start putting some heavy bullets in those we get right back to std mags.....

I really like the plain old 30 carbine but that one you have there next to the 30 blackout sure looks efficient.

Now I'm just waiting for GW to cut the neck off a .223 and run it through his Carbine die..... Chambered the brl the other day and will try and get a carbine gas system on it today. Have a slight issue with the ebay dies I bought (no primer de-capper) so I'll get creative with some reloading.

Now I'm just waiting for GW to cut the neck off a .223 and run it through his Carbine die..... If he runs the carbine die only about a quarter of the way down the .223 brass it might make a nice 300 blackout cartridge!

Hah! 30 carbine is one I DONT have dies for... I am however thinking on buying a grand of 10mm Mag and running them into the .357 SIG dies and making a 358 spectre.......... Because my 357 rimless mag is turning in to such a PITA.

Made a couple de-cappers and work just fine. Ran a couple sub loads through the press for fit and function but did not get a chance to get out last night. Maybe Sunday when I am burning some wings
