Made up two 30 round M1 mags this week with modified stock followers and they worked ok, but a new follower would make things better. WE'll see how it goes. Our Gen3 mag worked good as well and now working on follower spring pressure.

Yep, about 2-3 weeks ago, last time I was at the shop. Now to try and figure out how to get enough time to make some more....

Tried to speed read....but...so... is there an adapter block available that is not using the AR mag catch? Using M1 Carbine mag catch?
I have always wanted an AR in 30 Carbine using M1 Carbine mags. Long ago, Olympic Arms got me peaked but that upper/adapter did not last. Then I found that Excel Arms(?) was making an AR type firearm using unmodified M1 Carbine mags... but no idea if it made it or not...maybe just a SHOT show intro back then...
I'm a sucker for odd stuff... lol

Hey K, Our mags are independent AR style mags with 30 cal guts and a bolt hold open. I am not aware of any lower that accepts M1 mags w/o the AR mag release.... sorry.

Made a batch of followers for the 169 mags. Do you still sell the mag block adapters?

We no longer offer the M1 Carbine mag adapter. We do offer a dedicated or conversion mag. Please see www.thearguy.com

Working on getting some new springs for the M1 mags. Spun up a couple of barrels last week to get some uppers built.
