I was playing with some 9mm Winchester magnum brass and ran some through the Tok die and came up with this little puppy. A longer Tokarev round based on the Winchester 9mm magnum next to a standard length Tok round. I'm just not sure it there is any real value in this but a chamber maybe could be cut just running the Tok chamber reamer in a bit further. I would have put a spitzer bullet in there but all I had left was the 85gr round nose. The neck is a little longer -- I figured may it would work better with stuff like the Hornady 110gr V-max. The point is that it fits in an M1 carbine magazine and allows for a better choice of bullets than the actual M1 carbine cartridge. The long cartridge in the picture is 1.53" COL. This little 22 caliber version was just something I did playing with the 9mm Winchester magnum brass. Only problem would be is it would require a whole new chamber reamer. It fits in the M1 carbine magazine like it was made for it. I have a little 22 Reed Express that is made from strandard 7.62X25 Tok brass and I ran some shots through a chrony and it averaged 3104fps out of a 16" barrel on my AR carbine. The bigger version based on the 9mm Win magnum should go a heck of a lot faster -- but then is there any real value in it?

I completly forgot about your Tmag thing. I guess my point was they both fit in an M1 carbine magazine -- Like if you finish the M1 carbine magazine adapter. The cartridge case is shorter than the M1 carbine case so a better variety of bullets would be available and still fit the magazine.
