and hope to try out Subsonic , dunno if anyone else in interested or not but if they work I might have them available. farm7.static.flickr.com/6072/6054392489_51d52153b6.jpg [/img] That's a 220 grain Poly tip ULD/Roundnose my own creation, the 220 weight happens to be about as much as I can get out of the jackets I have... without resorting to expensive tungsten powder fillers etc. if it shoots decent and I like it I might look into doing the rebated boat tail, serrated jacket, pre-fragmented core or Bore rider/dual diameter. Right now i am just messing about. Dan

What, no Unubtanium coatings and laser guidance? What kind of throat do you need with that? My 180 Lee cast won't fit a stock Tok chamber. Awsome job by the way.

No idea what throat it takes, never fired one, just made this one last night, and as far as unobtainium ... the poly tip DOES glow in the dark . Plan is to make about 50 of these and let my buddy try to get them to work in his 300/.221. outlawstate bullets is doing one like this ( uses the same company for his dies as I do I think ) but he has invested the extra grand or so and does the serrated jacket and Dual diameter ( front half of the bullet is sized to be a bore rider ) the Die set I have makes really nice 190 grain VLD ( 14 caliber ogive) I have fired a few of those in a 300 win mag but not enough and not at range to draw any conclusions. I do have a little over a pound of powdered tungsten .. interesting stuff but kinda a pain to work with and very spendy.

loaded in a tok case it makes a interesting keychain fob.
Have not gotten the pre wonter project list whittled down to where i can justify the time inside to do stuff like this just yet. Soonish though, and I am still looking into making suitable jackets commercial ones are starting to get spendy.
