1/22/11 Hi All, Have been running Tok Blow Backs, Left, Right, and Flush adapters. We are working through some machine issues while we get our latest machining center tooled up and programmed. 2010 has come and gone, I didn't miss going to SHOT again this year (much) , and it won't be long to pull the covers off the Harley's. Had to re-tool the machine center and trying out some new cutters. Should have everything zero'd out today and cut some parts. Have the anodizer hooked up and doing some beta testing on parts.

3/14/11: Did a bunch of testing over the weekend and it was good to get out and burn up a few hundred rounds without having to worry about losing my brass. The new Blow Back ejectors are great and I like the rifle buffer system in that set up much better. The gas systems are still smoother. We have been running some standard adapters but still fighting a machine control issue and went through a spell of tool breakage. I've got the code started to swap over to the new machine, but its time to burn the midnight oil to get this done. I've also been looking at some other styles of mag catches to see if we can minimize the surplus mag variation issues without having to do any machine work on the mags. Speaking of mags, prices have and are going up. I am seeing $15 - $30 ea for the Pps-43 mags. Numerich has them for $20 ea, or $$36 for a 3 pack: www.gunpartscorp.com/catalog/Search.aspx?filter=ppsh-43+magazinesAlso gunthings.com has them 10 for $130 I've only got a few left and have been looking for another source to get a bunch to have on hand.

Made some tooling changes and the associated programming for the Standard Adapters. Been proving out the program this week and testing. Made a clearance change in the interior of the adapter and it made a big difference allowing the mags to drop free and accepting over 90% of the surplus mags with out any mods or tweaking. I am still looking at doing an adapter mag catch upgrade but that will wait untill the current orders are filled. Parts should start getting anodized Mon or Tue and get ready for final assembly.

Have a batch of Standard adapters anodized and tweaking the mag catch systems with the new interiors. Have shipped a couple out with the others to follow next week. Then we will revise the Flush interiors to match and start work on the 30 Carbine.

The new interiors are great. Now we are reviewing our machining process and jigs (once again) on the Right Hands, our most popular adapters. Need to get another batch done and in the anodizer.

Finally got programming done on the "new" right hand adapters. We just modified how we machine them to speed the process up a bit and keep our costs down. Hope to anodize a few tomorrow and do some shooting!

Tested a couple of adapters off the new program. Function is 100% so now to find the time to run a batch of them off.......

Ran a couple Tokarev adapters after one last tweak. Things look good so now will go after the engraving portion. Have a line limit in the program so will have to see if I can get it all done in one shot because I can only load one program at a time on the machine.

Wow - March 30th - where does the time go? Need to get the engraving done so I can run another batch. Had / have a run on Tok uppers so need to get more of these out. Have to run a few blow backs also to make sure I have some on hand before changing programs and running the Uzi stuff. Now the issue is finding mags at a reasonable price....

Holy mag dump! almost two years since this last post.... Wow, I need to get home more. I do have some adapters made and just finished fitting the catches to them. They are all spoken for, but heading home next month!

Do you have a picture of how the flush mag adapters work for the gas operated tokarev? I have one of your right hand adapters and it works great but a flush mount would be really nice.
