Adapters went out to anodizer yesterday, IHC says 5 to 10 business days for turn around. This batch was 50 adapters and if they offer a cost savings I will pass it on to the customers. When they come back we have to fit the internals to the Standard adapters and then start shipping them out.
Magazines are being sized and slotted and will be ready when adapters come back
We are prepping barrels for turning with the blanks we have in stock. Right now we are offering barrels for $250 ea. with extension, chambered, and headspaced. Gas block journals turned to .750, muzzle threaded to your spec, lengths up to 20", and parkerized. The blanks we have in stock are Adams & Bennett. We are talking with a few different suppliers on qty and availability, but that will depend on demand. What ever price break we can get on blanks, we will pass that on to the customer.
Gas blocks with tubes right now are $50 ea. Again, depending on demand, price can be reduced
We bought some 2 pc carbine FF tubes, and are trying to get some more of those.
Model 1 A3 uppers with BCG are just over $300 to us. We are trying to get dealer / qty discounts. So that puts us at $650 for a complete upper if we can get some more 2 pc FF tubes for $50. Add an adapter and that would bring it up to $800 with a standard or $760 with a flush. Plus S&H, insurance, etc....
We also asked RRA about their blow back parts for those of you asking for blowback uppers in 9, 45, and 7.62x25 and will see what they have to say. We can do barrels in these calibers for blow back for $225 ea.
Blow back adapters should be ready "soon"
Thanks for your patience, this has been a long time coming....\ Tim
5/11/09: Hardcoater says adapters will ship today ;D

We are assembling the anodized adapters and fitting the locks and catches on them. Magazines are being processed for slots and sizing. We can cut your slots for $2 ea and size your mags for $5 ea.

I just got my flush mount adapter and mag. The adapter and mag fit the lower very well. I should have my upper in the next week and will post the results.
Thanks Tim.

Hello every one! My friend showed up today with the adapter. We went shooting, and except for little things like front sights flying off of pistols, it was a good session. Currently, the only thing I own that would even begin to work with Tok mags is an Oly .45 upper. Out of 12 mags, I had one that would fit reasonably, and it was tight!
Though .45 was not my original choice, I had to try it. It worked, sort of. The .45s would come up on one side or the other of the feed lips from time to time, and be to low for the bolt to push them into the chamber. If they came up in single feed style, in the center of the feed lips, they did fine.
What I really want is a 9x23mm upper, gas operated. Might have to wait a while, since things are so crazy right now.
The AR definitely looks wicked with the PPS-43 mag!
Eventually I want a 7.62 Tok upper also.

What # adapter are you using?
Did your friend try it with Tok ammo?
"1 out of 12 of your Tok Mags fit our adapter"? More info please.
.45's typically like the sized mags better with the feed lips opened up.
Thanks to everyone reporting in with range reports! 1000 rounds + and counting ;D

Got out to the range today. Fired 100 rds of S&B ammo. The gun ran good except for 7 feeding problems. All of the problems were from the round feeding to high. The rounds would hit above the chamber pushing the bullet into the case. Five of the failures were on the last round and the other two were from blown primers getting stuck in the locking lugs. That was the only problem with this setup. The upper ran great and ejected all of the brass into a small area a couple feet behind me to the right. The''Flush Mount'' mag block fit the lower with minimal play and the mag locked firmly in place. The mag block stayed in place while inserting and removing the mag.
I am planning on going back tomorrow. I will post more results.

Thanks for the update. We got another update this weekend with not so good results. We are sending out another adapter to him and will post what we find when we get his adapter back.
We also had a chance to do a lot of testing this weekend on the Tok and other projects. We chronographed different Tok uppers and was getting 1734 avg out of one (B3) and 1706 avg from the other (B1) with the only major difference being the gas blocks. We'll do more testing and see if we can confirm the blocks make the difference. Highest recorded vel was 1773 fps from B3 and lowest was 1668 from B1

Went back out yesterday. Fired 200 rds of S&B. Same problems as above. Had about a dozen jams from blown primers. It also failed to feed the last round about half of the time. That is the last of my good ammo. I will try to get out in the next week or two and shoot some of the Bulgarian.

I am using the Romainian and have not had a blown primer. I have had a few that took more than one strike to fire tho. On the FTF on last round, have you tried to stretch the mag spring? Also take a look at the dimples on the side of the mag that limits the follower movement. We've had a couple mags that we have modifed to get the follower up a little higher. Keep us posted!

2 reports coming in with FTF issues. We are sending out new adapters to the users and are looking into the issue. Mag height is very important and making sure the adapter and mags are seated fully. Will keep you posted when we see what is going on. Thanks for all the reports! Tim
