I bought this Yugo Tokarev from classic firearms a few weeks ago and ended up getting one that looks different from all those Ive seen before and since then I am trying to get information on it but have come up empty handed. As you can see in the picture it has a beavertail similar to that of a 1911 and the gun is "squared off" around the grip unlike the curved design of other Tokarevs I have seen. I took the grip off and it appears to be factory made, I can't see anywhere there was any machining done to add material.
Your's doesn't have a rail in front of the trigger and I was wondering if there are screw holes there so a rail could be added -- would be good for a laser. I was wondering if yours is an early version?
