Hey Everyone! I'm officially off the road and back at the shop full time (until the phone rings again right......) and getting things back in order. I've started to update our websites and modify the content to better reflect what Heavy Metal is currently doing. The major change is that Heavy Metal is out of the heavy fab work. We sold all the big fab equipment and bought more cnc machines. This change has been going on since I first went back on the road and now its time to make it official. As those who have been following here, we have been working on some new "Uzi mag" rounds and the uppers to go with them. These are going to be our primary focus going forward and we hope to have some new information regarding them next week. So hang on, thanks for your support, and let's get to work!

Have a gun show up in St Ignace MI this weekend and all packed up for that. Bro is going to thin out his herd and asked me last month if I would be in town then. We'll lo and behold, we are, so I am! We need to generate some cash to fund more blow back development and update some tooling. I'll try and send some pics from the road.

October is about done and November 8th right around the corner. I don't know about you, but I am hoping for some CHANGE! Been travelling a lot as some of you know. Finally got a semi permanent address and now to find a way to get some work done between work...... I appreciate those of you that have hung on through this, I never thought I would be sitting here a year ago! Tim

Merry Christmas and here is to a Happy New Year!
Talk about Hope and Change...... I stayed up the whole election night with Hope in my heart for America. Watching the arrogance and condescension of the media as they were forced to acknowledge Change was happening before their eyes was priceless. Like they say, Hope for the Best, but expect the worst. I felt that 2016 was much different than 2012, but knew that the liberal / progressive's would not go quietly. Today we are seeing that evolve before our very eyes as we are being portrayed as the villains. Yesterday, when American's were being blamed for being anti Jesus because he was a homeless immigrant, and the First Lady proclaiming "this is what Hopeless looks like" should show everyone what lengths these people will go to bend the truth. Hopefully Monday when the electors cast their ballets we can move one step closer to real Hope and Change. Do not be discouraged, stand up for yourself with truth and compassion, and remember: This is going to be a bitter transition, not because of us who have been dictated to and ruled against our will by judges and a pen, but because the Left is forcing it to happen. I am convinced they would like nothing better than to paint every American in the absolute worst light as publicly possible. Be prepared, be strong, and stand true. Merry Christmas and may God Bless America

Yes, Hope and Change are coming to Washington! Now lets see how the talk gets translated to the walk! Just to let you know I'n not screwing off, here are some shots of the southern command. I had two loads of crush and run brought in last year and I should have went with better stone. Things are still way soft at the bottom so I bit the bullet and brought in a full load of 57! We got water tapped into on Thursday and now have to dig a trench up to the shop. It's only 150' so wont be too bad. Had about 4' of hard pan right at the meter box, so had to pick axe that out which slowed me down a bit. I've got the solar charger on the dozer so if it will fire up today we can spread some of that stone out.

2/15/17 Update: Those of you that visit here on a regular basis know that I can be gone for extended periods with a phone call. The phone rang last month just as I got back to the shop from almost a year away. I am thankful for the work, I truly am. The call was for a great opportunity close to the Southern Command, which would have been great, for 6 months..... and 6 more months telling everyone, " I'll be back in......" I chose not to take the work and stay here focused on the shop. My focus at the shop is going to be to streamline the few key products we do and have them at a fair price. Anything outside of that scope is going to be at shop rates, like normal people do, and what I tell my road customers to do...... physician, heal thyself. I am excited and encouraged to be home, that is for sure, and to be able to take your calls and walk out to the shop and put all that talk into action on a daily basis. Lets hope that the sun is starting to shine bright on us all! Let's throw some lead!

Ring, Ring: Greetings from the road..... This will be a short tour, but a very good customer needed some help. Communications should be normal and I'll get a schedule ironed out here in the next few days, I just got out of the truck a few hrs ago..... Thanks, and stay in touch.

Truck got loaded and is sitting outside the new shop..... Now lets see if the unload goes as smooth as the load and the setups and alignments don't take too long. (and we don't get headaches from the funny power down here...)
