Its been a quick 6 months...... time flies when you're having fun right? Seen more weather, floods, lightning strikes, and blown substations in the last 6 months than I have in the last 6 yrs! Makes for some long days.

Wow, as we all know, parts are scarce and expensive right now. Basically all parts found are 2x list price right now. Accordingly we are trying to cover our costs on parts. Normally I would think cooler heads would prevail and everything would get back to normal in a couple months. Normally....... So I'm doing the same thing you guys are, keeping an eye out for parts at a fair price and making decisions as I need to. Stay tuned, its going to be an interesting few months...

The end of March already....... wow....
OK - had some news at the beginning of the year and once again, the only thing consistent is change. I had plans to get off the road and back to the shop full time, had, being the key term. The company persuaded me to stay on a bit longer. We have a lot of projects on the table and getting back on a two - six week rotation just ain't cutting it. So to make a long story short, I'm looking for space where I've been working to move the shop and at least get to a full time - part time schedule. I've got a couple places picked out so we'll see what happens. Take care Tim

Plan on being back at the shop for a few days this weekend. Then to WI, PA, and SC before I can get back to the shop. Have some options on whats going on with the shop so we'll see what happens in May. Two things I do know is that our backlog is up and parts are becoming available ;D If you are willing to shop you can get close to pre-November prices. The prices coming down says the supply is catching up but we still need to pull together on the assault on our rights.

I don't know if this will annoy people here but I try to get everyone to either join the NRA or some other well know gun rights group like the Second Amendment Foundation or Gun Owners of America. I belong to two of them. It's hard to image there are around 100,000,000 gun owners in this country at this time and only about 4 or 5 million are members of the NRA. I hope a good percentage of the rest of the gun owners belong to some other involved gun rights organization.

How True, It is going to come down to numbers people. We all don't agree on some specifics of different groups, but....... lets look at the alternative of those who "we" voted into office. Not to get off topic but history shows where we are headed if we do not pull together. Tim

Hey All. Great to be home! (as I have the truck packed for PA to see Mom and Dad for Sunday dinner ) Have a couple side stops planned to see some friends after my 16 month "tour" then back home to MI for the unoffical opening of Bike Season - the Blessing of the Bikes in Baldwin. If you ever get the chance check it out, I think they have passed 40,000 riders / spectators. Weather sucks here right now, cold and rain but hopefully next week will be great and everyone will have a great weekend. Take care and see ya next week. Tim

Hey All! A great summer Michigan day. Just got back from a road trip that took me to South Carolina and lo and behold we are going to be travelling back and forth for a while. Have plans to get shop space set up so we'll keep the Heavy Metal Train on the tracks. Will take a few weeks to get things sorted out but again, we have lots going on. Plus a nice shooting range down the road from the shop down there!

This new shop space, is it going to be just for the firearms stuff or a second shop for all the Heavy Metal business?

Hopefully both. Have a guy running fab shop up north while I'm searching out options while I'm on the road. We will do what makes sense but focus for me is going to be AR's.

Greetings, September is here and closing fast. Hunting season is in full swing and working a lot. The news is we have found some property for the new shop and hope to close on it next week. Looking to get building as soon as practical so we can get things set up and working. Will start working on the new shooting range as soon as we close and the property is ours. I Don't know if we can get to 500 yds, but 300 won't be a problem. October is going to be a busy month especially with deer season starting and travelling from Michigan to South Carolina. Still kind of in flux down south so stay tuned and will update when we can.
