funny thing is most people hear 600 pounds and think OH MY GAWD thats a LOT of lead, truth of the matter is a ammo can holds about 100 1 pound ingots. Makes a hell of a door stop.

I keep it in the melting pot right next to the guitar fret board wood. Just lift the handle above the 600gr 510" mold and it will come right out.......... repeat as needed

Barrel chambered yesterday. Using Fed American Eagle and Winchester White Box for testing. Slight difference in headspacing with both brands, about .003". Going to use the Tok gas system for starters. Pressures are higher than the Tokarev, but are much quicker according to Quick Load so we'll see how it goes.

357 Sig is up and running. Putting HG and FSB on today for shipment. Round has a bunch of power and I might have it over gassed a bit. Ejection was a bit different and had to tweak on some things. The Sig rim is different than the 10mm brass I used for the 357 SS.

Just an update on the 357 Sig round. I built a lefty for a customer and definitely had a difference between factory 357 Sig and the 357SS built earlier. Had to do some tweaking on extractor because the case rims were different enough that the 10mm case ejected without issue, but the 357Sig rim gave us trouble. As I said earlier, I may have it over gassed a bit, but tuning with the buffer and spring got it running fine. I did have to run our CUZI adapter for this unit and used modified UZI mags the customer supplied. Had to do the same basic mods to the Colt / CProduct mags to level out the followers for good feeding. All in all, another very powerful round that the AR loves.
