The longer, smaller dia rounds (M1 Carbine) feed better than shorter, larger rounds (10mm Mag) so we looked at geometry and made hopefully some universal changes that won't effect the other rounds and we don't end up with a bunch of different part sku's…
Getting material list together for another beta run with the new dims so hopefully, we can let these out for those of you waiting...

Hey All, Been so busy with work and then hitting the 22 TCM mags hard to get them feeding better I kinda dropped the M1 side of things. So, I just need to make up a bunch and be done with it.

Hopefully test the M1 Carbine set up this weekend with some other calibers in the new mags.

Any pics on the prototype? Or does it look the same as your previous iteration? I’m hoping to build a varmint rifle on a standard AR lower. Thanks!

Tested the M1 Carbine mag set up this weekend. The mag did its part, but unfortunately I didn't have some of the reloads crimped enough and got multiple Failure to Chamber which really put a damper on the testing, not to mention my attitude. I'll load up a bunch more and go back at it. with a max OAL of 1.690", the reloads just barely fit into the mag... might have to work on that a bit.

Re-seated and crimped all the reloads I had and went back at it today at the local indoor range, Country Folks Super Store in Cumming GA, nice people to work with. The 30 M1 Carbine fed 100%, but I did have two rounds that would not chamber. I pulled them when I got back and cases were too long. All in all, it was a good trip.

OK, when the dust settles. Is there a ready to run .30 Carbine upper/mag adapter/mag setup available?
How about a parts source in case a guy wants to build his own? I have several built lowers kicking around the bottom of the safe, searching for a loose .30 Carbine upper. There are still a couple of empty holes in my rack of shame for a .30 Carbine and a necked down variant or two...

I know how much "free" time you have, that ain't spoke for, so I'll just stand here quietly.

Did you ever get these going and for sale? I would love a 30 Carbine AR to go with the TCM you built.

Got a batch of mag bodies in last week. Been moving the shop to the next new location (un-planned and definitely something I wasn't wanting to do....) but we are in process with half the shop moved. Hope to have power this week and move the machines the end of the week. Good news is that the new place has AC! That's going to be nice. Anyway, got M1C-AR mags to build. Merry Christmas!

Here is a row of our M1C-AR beta mags: L-R: M1 Carbine, 22 TCM w/62 gr SPBT, 357 Mag Rimless (357ARMag), 10mm Magnum I hope to work on the guts for the M1C mag before I finish moving, but we'll see what happens between now and then, still lots to do.... Merry Christmas!
