Was just thinking that it would make things a bit easier for me if the 5.45X29 AR bolt could be used in a 7.62X25 DI carbine. I have 4 rifles that use the 7.62X25 Tok brass and I only have 3 bolts. The rim on the Tok case is 0.392" diameter and the 5.45X39 Rim is .394" in diameter. The only other thing is the rim thickness -- the Tok case is .052" thick and the 5.45X39 rim is .059" thick. Does anybody know or think the bolt will work for my 7.62X25 Tok carbine?

Yes they do. You might have to run a 5.56 extractor modified for the Tok. I have heard, but never verified, that the rim thickness does cause an issue. If that is the reason for the 5.56 extractor or not, I don't know. I do not use them. Only because of price and availability in the past. Its not that difficult, but hard on tooling, to knock out 10 5.56 bolts at a sitting.
