Hey All,
Hope you had a safe and happy Thanksgiving and travels weren't too bad for you. I might get snowed in for a day or so, but that's the way it goes....
Unfortunately, just as we get the remote shop organized we have to move. Things will be disrupted for a while, but only for a month or so as we get things over to the next temporary location....

Merry Christmas Everyone!
Been busy moving to the new place and hope to have it all finished up by the New Year. My son came down and helped out this weekend and it was nice to spend some time with him. Just got an order of blanks and mag bodies in so will have plenty to do in my spare time....
Take care and be safe.

Hey All,
Got "big" machines moved today to the new place..... no power yet so waiting for customer service to let me know when the switch will be turned back on..... Smaller floor space for equipment so we'll do a good 5S of the place and weed out clutter. Going to be busy next few days as we transition and hopefully hit the ground running.... Happy New Year

Greetings All and Hallelujah... the rain has stopped and we got Sunshine!
Shop is all moved and should have power on machines today. I'm actually liking the place as the smaller work area has forced me to clean up some more... Its a great little area and looking forward to getting things all organized and making some chips.

Hey All - Happy New Year
As they say, Times fun when you're having flies.... or was that Kermit? I don't know about you, but I've been busy on the road and the shop has paid the price for it. Travel increased about 80% last May and hasn't let up. We have a machinist that's working part time up at the main shop so we are going to try and get some adapters made.
Lets see if we get through this quarter and settle into a new routine and go from there.

Hey All,
What a year 2020 was... no matter your affiliation or belief it certainly was different.... Now with 2021 in full swing, my schedule has not let up and is actually ramping up. With the "shortage" of parts and price escalation, we are trimming down our shop orders. We've announced on TheARGuy.com that we are not taking new orders. We are working on filling the back log, but we are spending way too much time searching for parts to make it effective. We are going to slow down a bit and see what happens....
Best Wishes

Hey All,
Winter is Coming. Trees are starting to turn and I get all phases of fall with my travel schedule. We have suspended orders at the shop for a while to get caught up on some things and get the shop ready for winter. Parts are starting to turn up again and prices getting back to pre pandemic levels. Blanks are still hit and miss so instead of not knowing when we'll get parts, we are going to focus on getting things caught up and see where it goes from there.
Take care,

Time for my annual update... 13 months, geesh where does it go? It goes on the road working is where it goes. Been swamped with road work, but it's been a great ride and some fantastic work.
We hauled our first load of stuff from the remote shop back to the main shop last week and have 1 or two more loads to go. The goal is to consolidate back at the main shop now that the remote project has been completed. Then we hope to update some of the order process and get back on track with barrels and uppers. That's the plan anyway.
Take care, Safe Halloween, Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas All!
Hope the season is filled with time with your family. In the process of hauling more stuff from remote shop back to the main shop. Unfortunately, they are calling for ice the night before we are supposed to leave, so we'll see how that goes. Then it will be back for one more clean up pass and put the remote shop in the rear view! Its been a great time down here until we couldn't get off the road to get anything done.
Be safe!

Last load moved to shop New Years Day. Spent last couple of weeks cleaning and scrapping out some old stuff to make room for the updated layout.

Another 6 months goes by....
Shop is operating, but not a efficient as I would like. Still some of the old stuff we have been trying to find a new home for in the way plus a couple of large projects we need to get cleared out.
Hopefully the road work will be minimal for a while and we can stay focused on all our dedicated customers!
