Greetings from South Carolina! Welcome to the new range as we get things cleared up. Got a DR walk behind brush hog and I tell you what, that thing is an animal! Yes, thats a Clemson hat, no, I'm not a convert. I needed something orange and that's as close as I could get. Deer season runs Oct 1 - Dec 31 or something like that. We get two weeks in Michigan and my dad gets like 3-5 days in PA

The new Southern Command. Picked up a FEMA trailer for housing during construction. Looking for the "spot" to set it up so we can get water, sewer, and power coming in. Off to the left, through the pines a valley starts that goes all the way to the creek. Real nice spot for a cabin looking down through there. We are clearing out the scrub and will put a 3 Gun type area down there.

Here is the main range. 100+ yards right now, can easily add another 50, maybe even 100! The area was clear cut years ago when the property was logged. All I had to do was run the brush hog over the area and clean it up. Back stop was made form some southern yellow pines and will back that up with dirt when I can get a dozer in there to knock down some high spots. Will chip all the brush accumulated and pile it all in the back.

Greetings All! Just finished two back to back projects and on "break" for a bit. Up in MI and cleaning up the shop. The trees are just starting to bud out so things are still gray compared with SC where they are already cutting hay! Have a lot of clean up and organizing to do at the shop so hoping I have enough time to do that. We sold two large fab machines last year and they guy is still using them here so they have got to go so we can really LEAN this place up. I had the opportunity to work with a fantastic company called Harris Lean Systems and I tell you what, it works and I believe. I have a list of things to get caught up on at the shop so Happy Spring and lets get to work. Tim

I can see daylight in the office, the last 4 years on the road really took its toll. Finally going to paint the floor and its time to do the walls again. Got the lathe and mill cleaned up and working on Gen4 and Gen5 pistons. Will start on the shop after we get a couple of jobs knocked out. Time to have a yard sale!

Thanksgiving around the corner and I managed to get some deer hunting in. Up in MI again taking care of the backlog and getting our new products ready. Did a major re-organization yesterday and moving all the welding / fab equipment to the old sand blast area. That will get all the "dirty" work in a separate area and open up the machine shop. Its a good thing because I've got two used "machines" coming in! Also laying the groundwork for retrofitting two of our old mills with new controls. Need to generate some capital to do it but it has to be done to get them back and productive. Going to put a 4th axis on at least one and see if we just might be able to grind some reamers on it. Got lots to do and traveling back to SC soon so let's get at it.

Merry Christmas everyone! Please pray for those in harms way during the holidays. Just got back to MI and unpacked the truck. Calling for snow tomorrow so we'll see what happens. Have a lot going on so will try and fill you all in as I get settled back in up at the shop. I tell you, it sure is nice typing on a computer instead of a phone!
