Set up the lathe..... Quick and easy cuts..... Did some 7 Fireball's, cut the rest of the 300 Fireballs I had formed, and did a few at 1.290"

Cut the brass a little too close and didn't allow enough for clean up and cases are a wee bit short. Will do a few more with the squeeze down before method and leave some extra for final triming.

Squeeze down first method is working better. Run full length 556 case through 7 Fireball die, expand and move neck down, trim a bit long in the lathe, final size on the trimmer. Nice necks and chamber just fine. Had to modify my expander / decapper from the RCBS die set that I had cut down to make the dies. The decapper was down too far hitting the base of the case and was not getting the shoulders pushed back far enough. The bullet seater also eats the Sierra 115 gr JHP Varminters so we'll take a look at that.

I put this upper back together last week with the goal of loading up some rounds in hopefully my new spare time. We'll see what happens....

Got the dies cut the other day and sized some cases. Getting the cases trimmed and chamber done. We'll see if we can test next week.

Got the dies done, barrel chambered, tested and shipped out. Nice little round. Thought I took a pic, but can't find it.
